What Kind of a Capitular Mason are You?

 

A lot of Capitular Masons are like wheelbarrows—no good unless pushed.

Some are like trailers—they have to be pulled.

Some are like kites—if you don’t keep a string on them they fly away.

Some are like balloons—full of wind and ready to blow up.

Some are like footballs—you can’t tell which way they will bounce.

And then, some are like a good watch—open face, pure gold,

Quietly busy, and full of good works.

 

On March 27, 2005, I had the pleasure of attending the Grand Encampment Easter Sunrise Service with the Grand Commandery of Knight Templars and the Appendant Orders of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. It was my pleasure to represent Pilgrim Commandery #9 at the George Washington Memorial in Alexandria VA. My understanding is that it was the first time in many years that the Grand High Priest, The Most Illustrious Grand Master (Donald W. Carriger, Jr.), and the Grand Commander (C. Robert Jingozian) were all in attendance.

 

On March 19, 2005, I had the pleasure of attending the Annual Meeting of the Grand Council of Royal and Select Master Masons of Massachusetts. Companion Donald W. Carriger, Jr, was elect for a second term as Most Illustrious Grand Master. Companion Carriger has become a friend of your Grand High Priest and his wife Dorothy. We have over the last year traveled to many Jurisdictions and. have had the pleasure of sitting at the same table at most of the dinners.

Most Ill\Carriger is always a gentleman and fine representative of the Grand Council. As Grand High Priest I pledge my support to him and the Grand Council.

 

All Secretaries should have information for our Annual Spring Charity Event on April 30, 2005. For more information or tickets contact your District Deputy Grand High Priest.

 

Each Companion can make a great difference in their Chapter just by being in attendance for their meetings. In this manner the Companion shows his support for his Chapter, and support for his Chapter’s officers.

 

April 1, 2 - Your Grand High Priest will be in attendance at the Annual meeting of the Grand Chapter of Rhode Island.

 

April 7, 8 - Your Grand High Priest will be in attendance at the Annual meeting of the Grand Chapter of Ontario.

 

April 21, - Your Grand High Priest will be in attendance at the Annual meeting of the Grand Court of Massachusetts Order of Amaranth.

 

April 23, - Your Grand High Priest will be in attendance at the 50^th Anniversary of Massachusetts Priory No. 52, KYCH.

 

April 26, 27, - Your Grand High Priest will be in attendance at the Annual meeting of the Grand Chapter of Indiana.

 

April 30, - Your Grand High Priest will be in attendance at the Annual Spring Charity Event in Southbridge Ma.
