M. E. Charles A. O’Wril, Jr.  April 2003

Dear Companions:

A Prince from the House of Masonry has fallen. Most Worshipful David Borden Richardson, Past Grand Master of The Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Massachusetts has passed away. It was my honor to be present at a memorial service for him in Hanover, Massachusetts on April 12, 2003. M.W. Richardson and his wife Carol were a couple to be emulated. He was a complete gentleman, and she is a lady! He will be missed by all Masons!

Companions, do not let one more day go by without telling the people you love, how much you care for them. If you ponder on this subject you will realize that life would be very empty without our family and friends. Fortunately as Masons we make friends and meet new friends every time we attend a Masonic meeting. I know that in almost any city or town in Massachusetts a Masonic friend resides. I know many people carry a grudge against someone, and intend some day to reconcile their problem. Do not delay for life is short and we don’t know if God has provided for us another minute, day, month, year or decade before calling us to that Celestial Lodge above.

I want to thank R.E. Raymond Ciani, Chairman of our Spring Charity Dinner, his assistant RE. Richard McDonald, and their Ladies for the excellent Charity Event at Indian Ranch the evening of April 12, 2003. Everyone who attended seemed to have a great time. I want to thank Companion Everett Carr for the fine ad book that he was instrumental in publishing.

Our next Charity Event is the Fall Charity Concert that R.E. William Epp will Chair. He has already started to organize this event.

For those who have access to computers, please check our web site www.gracma.org. This site contains much information and District activities. And I want to thank again R.E. Jeff Gardiner for keeping our web site updated.
