The Semiannual Convocation of the Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Massachusetts will be held on June 11, 2005, in the Masonic Apartments of Mount Vernon Royal Arch Chapter in Needham, Massachusetts. By now you should have made reservations through our Grand Chapter’s Office. I look forward to welcoming you to that Convocation.
June is the last month of our Masonic Meetings, before our summer vacations begin. Rest, but do not fall asleep. Our Lodges and Chapters need good qualified Members and Officers. Always be on the lookout for new prospective candidates.
The Grand Master, M.W. Jeffrey B. Hodgdon has formed a new Membership Committee and a program called PASS IT ON! The Grand Master also has formed an Alliance Committee made up of the Heads of all the Grand Masonic Bodies in the State of Massachusetts. He has proposed a new Universal Application which a candidate may use to apply for membership in a Blue Lodge, but also after being raised as a Master Mason will be routed to the various Masonic Bodies that he may wish to belong to. M.W. Jeffrey B. Hodgdon also has set up a committee to facilitate easy routing to the various Bodies. The application will be available this summer.
I thank The Isle of the Sea Royal Arch Chapter located in Nantucket, MA, for their exceptional hospitality during my recent visit. The Excellent High Priest, Michael R. Petrosino, and the officers and members of the Chapter could not have been more gracious to the Grand High Priest and his lady, to R\E\David A. Schofield, D.D.G.H.P of the 10th Capitular District; and to R\E\Herbert B. Jackson, Grand Scribe, and his Lady Barbara. It was my pleasure to award Ex. Robert Pitman Grimes the Benjamin Hurd Jr. medal for outstanding service to Isle of the Sea Chapter and Capitular Masonry.
June 3, 4 - Your Grand High Priest attended the Annual Convocation of the Grand Chapter of Connecticut.
June 8 - Your Grand High Priest will be in attendance at the Quarterly Meeting of the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts.
June 8 - Your Grand High Priest will be in attendance at the regular convocation of Holten RAC in Danvers, MA.
June 11 - The Semi Annual Meeting of the Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Massachusetts will be held at the Masonic Apartments in Needham, MA., at 3:00 P.M..
June 12 - Your Grand High Priest will be in attendance at the Annual Grand Master’s Fair in Charlton, MA.
June 13, 14 – Your Grand High Priest will be in attendance at the Annual Convocation of the Grand Chapter of Vermont.
June 15,- Your Grand High Priest will be in attendance at the Annual Convocation of The Council of Deliberation in Lexington, MA.
June 16,- Your Grand High Priest will be in attendance at the regular Convocation of Amherst RAC in Amherst, MA.
June 18 - Your Grand High Priest will be in attendance at the Board of Directors Meeting in Lexington MA.
June 18,- Your Grand High Priest will be in attendance at the Installation of the Officers of Shawsheen Chapter, Order of DeMolay in North Reading, MA..
June 25 - Your Grand High Priest will be in attendance at the Installation of Officers of Frank W. Thomson Lodge in Concord MA.
