Grand Chapter Education Program

Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Massachusetts

The new Grand Chapter Education Department is pleased to offer three new educational seminar programs for constituent Chapters.

Candidate & Member Instructional Program

This new program was field tested in the 10th Capitular District in 1997 and 1998. These seminars may be presented either at the conclusion of each Capitular Degree or may be presented as a 30 to 45 minute program after the conferral of the Royal Arch Degree.

Content includes Royal Arch symbolism, signs, grips, words, presentation of the allegories in each Degree, culminating with the Legend of the Royal Arch Degree.

Royal Arch Trivia Program

Informative and fun both for the newly-exalted Companion and the "know it all" veteran, this program teaches the history, symbolism and little-known facts of Capitular Masonry. It includes considerable information on Blue Lodge, as well.

"Rusty Companion" Program

This presentation is designed to have total participation of the Companions present. The length of time for this presentation can vary, depending on volunteer comments on Companion's experiences in working their way into Chapters in other jurisdictions. It also includes information on Blue Lodge.

Internet Services

The Grand Chapter Education Department is proud to be the founder of the Royal Arch "Listbot" discussion group on the internet. Through the efforts of Comp. CJ Ferry, the discussion group allows Royal Arch Masons from around the world to share their views on education and Chapter development with over 200 other Companions.
